4224 bandwidth

Post by BSI »

Hi,

I am planning to make some measurements with freq centered around 10MHz with the 4224 on the lowest 50mV Range.
The specs mentions that the BW drops from 20MHz to 10 MHz with this vertical range setting. Do you have a typical attenuation plot so I can see where there is no attenuation on the signal ? I am assuming 10MHz is at -3db already. Thx

Regards,
L.

Hi L,

Unfortunately we do not have an attenuation plot.

The bandwidth will be lower due to the range being used, and you are correct in that the 10MHz bandwidth will be at the -3dB level at the 50mV range.

Best wishes,

Alright. THx Hitesh.

This would be a reasonable spec to add so it is clear what the instrument is capable of.

Hi Laurent,

I've made a request to a member of the Development Team to consider as the specifications would be provided by that Department.

Thanks,
