storing signal generator settings?

Post by user4262 »

The software doesn't store the last adjustment of the signal generator (scope 4262, SW 6.8.11).

So the worklow is as below described:
- I have allways first enable the generator with the default (1V, 1k, Square)
- then I can adjust the amplitude, signal...

For some DUT the default signal can be to high. So I first disconnect the DUT, enable the generator and adjust then the signal. Then I reconnect the DUT.

Is it possible to store the last generator settings?

Hi user4262,

You can save your current PicoScope 6 settings to a .pssettings file by clicking File -> Save As... and selecting 'Settings files (*.pssettings)' in the 'Save as type' drop-down.

You can then load this file into PicoScope 6 either by double-clicking it to start a new instance or via the File -> Open... menu.

I hope this helps.
