Add external DC voltage to Signal Generator

Postby madhattersb » Tue Feb 11, 2014 5:33 pm

Hello,

I have a picoscope 2203.

I would like to add +9Vdc to a signal generated by the oscilloscope wave generator.

Is it possible?

How can I connect cables?

Thank you

Hi,

If all you want do it is add a dc offset of 9V, it is possible.

A simple system is to using a BNC to crocodile clip connector and a 9V battery,
You connect the red crocodile clip to the negative connector of the battery,
the black crocodile clip to ground,

The positive end of the battery should now output the signal but with +9V offset.
