64bit Labview with pico scope 2205 MSO

Post by antsant » Fri Jan 31, 2014 2:51 pm

I am trying to connect a PicoScope 2205 MSO with 64bit labview 2011.
I am stuck on getting the labview example programs supplied on the CD work.
I have been trying to follow the recomendations in the documentation and here as using the correct DLL for 64bits and changing data type for handle in call library functions etc.
The closest I got is to be able to run the labview code without the "broken arrow" but then nothing happens, no reaction on the scope diode and no error from the program, this is the same as with the scope disconnected.

-This is a bit new to me so I will have to investigate further,
I am wondering if anyone has succeded connecting the pico 2205 MSO to 64bit labview???
-Which version of the SDK did you use in that case and what is the correct DLL, PS2000.DLL or PS2000a.DLL?? I am a litte confused here.

Hi antsant,

For the PicoScope 2205 MSO, you will need to use the PS2000a.dll (and ps2000aWrap.dll) files.

You should be using the following vi files:

The current SDK version number is

If you are looking to use the Streaming mode example, please e-mail support@picotech.com as an update will need to be made to the examples and ps2000aWrap.dll.
