Picoscope 6 XP 32-bit installation fail

Hi,

We are interested (but not for long) in purchasing a Pico Scope. We decided to take a look at the software.

We downloaded Picoscope 6 onto a Dell Inspiron running on a Windows XP 32-bit platform. We upgraded to SP3 with no problems, plus latest .NET. All attempts to install the application fail. Installation rollback occurs repeatedly just after Pico Icon appears on desktop.

This is very frustrating, especially as your software does not (as far as we know) log problems. C'mon guys, sort it out.

Can you send a copy of dpinst.log which can be found in c:\windows\system32 to support@picotech.com, with details of the version of software you are trying to install, and one of the support team will take a look when we are back in the office tomorrow.
