I2C monitoring for minimum of 3-5 seconds...

Post by twgray »

My first post stated 3-5 minutes...my mistake. I need a 3-5 second sample...

I currently have one of your 3206 scopes and need to monitor/capture I2C data from a device for a minimun of 3-5 minutes. The data consists of multiple start - data - stop packets, at 400KHz.

Is this even possible with the 3206? All I have been able to do so far is to catch the first packet, using "single" trigger, at which the Pico stops capturing and dumps the data to the pc. Am I doing something wrong?

If you set the timebase to 500ms/div to give a screen display time of 5 seconds, and increase the number of samples, you will get a streaming capture of all the data.

Save this using File->Save and send this to support@picotech.com and explain what you are trying to do and we can help you tune the setup.
