Log directly to a database

Post by Jvoyer »

Hi,

Is it possible to log directly into a database? I want to monitor the current on a process that runs almost everydays, but I dont want to manually copy and paste everydays to the database.

I would suggest using the vba excel example, from the software development kit, to get data directly into the spreadsheet.

it would be nice if there is a possibility to log directly to (txt) file via picolog also:)

if pc hangs or power loss or somethng else happens ... data goes lost:(

If you set up recording to run for a shorter period and then enable repeat at end of run you will get a number of data files corresponding to your time period. Power failure will only lose the current record. These files will be plw but can be converted.
