Generate the signal once (not repeated)

Post by lmo »

Hello,
I've got a Picoscope 2207 with PicoScope 6 software and I need to use it to generate a unique burst that will not repeat infinitely, but it's seams impossible. I want to be able to draw my signal in the arbitrary signal generator (or by importing CSV file) and launch it once only. The idea is to generate a unique signal with for example a ramp of 50V/s during 100ms that will control a power source. Then I need to trig on the generated ramp to acquire the signal from the tested equipment on channel A and eventually B (I hope is it clear).

Is there a way to do it with this device and software ? If not what other PicoScope or what other software should I use ?

Thanks for any help

In the signal generator menu select "Triggers" and then set "Trigger Source" to "Manual" and "Cycles Per Trigger" to "1"

Now press the "Trigger Now" button and you will get a single shot of the AWG buffer out of the device.
