Signal Generator not working for low frequencies

Postby lukas » Mon Nov 25, 2013 10:45 am

Hi,
I just purchased a Picoscope 5242A and noticed that the signal generator is very imprecise for low frequencies below 5Hz and not working at all below 200mHz in Picoscope 6.8.3.12!

I also tried to use the C code provided with the SDK but can't generate slow signals(Should work as the Specification says from DC to 20 MHz).

What am I doing wrong?

Hi

Could you save your settings in PicoScope6 and then email the ps data file to support@picotech.com and we can investigate further for you.

Hi lukas,

After investigation, it appears that there is a bug which will be submitted to our Developent Team.

The minimum resolution should be 50mHz.
