Need to save 2 channels waveform simultaneously

Post by sbehnam3 »

Hi
i am using Picoscope 5203 and using Picoscope 6.7.40.3 software,i have one question.
When i use 2 scope view, one of them is channel A and one of them channel B. when i Set alarm -> save current buffer(.jpeg),it's automatically save just channel A (not channel B). how can i save both channel at same time?
when Channel A is triggered i need 2 different saved JPEG file (one for channel A and one for Channel B ), but save current buffer just save one Channel, not both channel simultaneously.

Hi sbehnam3,

Unfortunately the functions you have described can not be done in Picoscope 6.7.40.3.

If you were to have both signals on one view, right click on the view and auto arrange the axis
-this would separate signals enough so that when you captured the data as a .jpg, you would be able to view both signals.

If needed you could crop the jpeg to separate the channels manually if you you need them as separate files.

Doing this would unfortunately mean that you you not save the information from only one channel, this can only be done if you weren't viewing data from channel B.

However this may be a possible addition in future releases, if possible could you please explain the importance of having two separate JPEG files. Also if possible could you describe the application that the Picoscope is being used for in as much detail as possible. If you do not wish to post this information on the forum you can email it to support@picotech.com and we can discuss it further.

Thanks,
Karunen
