TC-08 dont work after restart...??

after pc restarts picolog gives a error message....Unit not opened:Error code 9

red/green led is blinking
only way to get working again is to replug usb.

but i am via remote desktop and repluging is impossible..

is there a solution for that error?
and why its coming after pc restart?

Hi mortenx,

The error code indicates a config failure.

Please ensure that you have the latest version of PicoLog installed which is available from

http://www.picotech.com/software.html

Uninstall the old version first and restart the PC if it is older than the current version.

The other thing to try is to delete the settings files located in a folder in:

Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<Your user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Pico Technology\
Windows Vista/7/8: C:\Users\<Your user name>\AppData\Local\Pico Technology\

You will need to enable hidden files and folders.

problem is coming after logging soft hangs and i close it from mouse right clik, then program closes but TC-08 led blinks after all and after restarting computer still blinking and pico program cant connection with TC-08. then only way to shut down TC loggers is pull out usb cable..
is this possible to shut down usb power in some menu ?
