ON/OFF switch

Post by randomrichard »

I have a Picoscope 2205 and it works very well. However, USB cable plugs are NOT designed as ON/OFF switches and repeated use of mine is resulting in rapid wear of the B socket on the rear of the unit. Why is there no ON/OFF switch! How may I install one?
Regards

Richard

Why do you need to keep unplugging the unit, it is perfectly OK to leave it plugged in to the PC even if the software is not operating.

If it's really important just find a hub on ebay with individual power switches for each port.
