USB Cables

Postby RCC » Sat Sep 28, 2013 1:51 pm

I would like to leave my 2205 MSO on my work bench with the rest of my test equipment (because of scope probe length), but my computer is on a side desk and the USB cable is to short. Is there a maximum USB cable spec length for use with the PICO scope? I would like to purchase a 15 foot cable

Hi,

A 5 metre USB cable is also available:

You might be able to go up to 10 metres, but beyond that you would have to consider something like a USB repeater cable or USB-Ethernet converter.

Thanks for the help, my small desk top was getting rather crowded with having to move all the items over there to work on them.
