Relative times of triggers in rapid mode

Post by sboeser »

Hi,

I've been poking around in the forum a bit and it seems that it is just NOT possible to obtain the relative times in between the triggers in rapid mode (or even in bulk mode)? I have seen some mention of a "GetTickCount" function, but this is not documented in the API?

Are there plans to add this feature to the firmware in the future?

Thanks, Sebastian

GetTickCount would be a windows/linux function within the application and nothing to do with the driver or scope. It would only give you an approximate time between successive triggers when using block mode of operation and repeating the runblock in a loop.

To time between successive captures in rapid block would require the addition of timing routines into the firmware of the device and unfortunately that is not on the current development pathway.
