Running program on alarm condition in Enviromon

Postby davido » Thu Dec 09, 2004 1:19 am

I have been unable to find more information than is attached on using this entry in envimon.ini.
Can i substitute a DOS batch file in place of myapp.exe?
I could not find any reference to this option in Enviromon user manual, and unable to get this fuction to work.

The only information i can find is taken from enviromon_bugs.html:
Description: When you set the following lines in your envimon.ini file:
... the program executes every minute (unnecessary)
Notes: Now executes on each new sensor alarm condition ... also when the Enviromon application is loaded and an alarm condition is active.
Version 05.09.06 - Click to download

Thank you for your post.

We have tested this function and have not had any problems with it.

It is possible to use a .bat file instead of the .exe file. What you need to ensure in both cases is that if the .exe or .bat are not in the installation directory, you need to include the full pathway in the envimon.ini file.

I would recommend that you make sure you have the latest version of the software, this is R5.10.06.

Hope this helps

Best Regards
