Dead Channel A?

Post by gygill »

I have a 3204 that I have been using for 6 years and love it. Recently I am unable to get anything on Channel A other than a slight glitch where there should be the start or end of a square wave. In addition the glitches are sometimes negative, which should be impossible. I have tried switching signals, probes, etc. The signals that should show on A are clearly showing on B. Can I assume that I have decimated my Channel A? Do you have any suggestions for further tests?
And assuming that I have indeed killed A, is there a repair capability in the US?
Thanks and regards,
Geoffrey Gill
