how to position the rulers automatically

Post by lsaprof »

Hi,

i´ve got a little problem.
I´m using the Picoscope 4424 and have to measure the time difference between the first edges of single pulses on 3 channels.
The sequence is always the same and the pulses can be positive or negative.

How i can set the position of the rulers automatically to an specific voltage on first edges , so i can see the times between the first edges?

Thanks

Hitesh

Hi lsaprof,

You could try setting up a trigger on one of the channels and then lining up the ruler on that point. You would then have to adjust the second ruler to find the time.

You can save the setup in order to load it again next time either by clicking:

File -> Save As... and setting the Save as type to 'Settings files (*.pssettings)' (You can then load this file each time you start PicoScope 6).

or clicking:

File -> Startup Settings -> Save Startup Settings

I will put in a feature request based on your query - if you have a screenshot or data file showing the pulses please send it in to support@picotech.com

Regards,
