Picolog 1012 series - USB dataloggers

Postby Ken Howell » Mon Apr 15, 2013 9:10 am

Hi

We have just received a new Picolog 1012 series - USB datalogger, and after following the instructions the unit seemed be installed correctly. I configured it for one channel only, created a file, and set it to run. Instead of the expected small noise signal as seen on previous Pico devices (Parallel ADC-11 and USB ADC-11) the reading was static showing a constant zero.

Grateful for your advice on what is going wrong.

Ken

Hi Ken,

Does the reading for the channel fluctuate at all in the PicoLog Recorder window?

Have you tried testing the input by connecting something like a 1.5V AA battery or connecting the 2.5V output from the terminal board to channel 1?

You can also check readings by running the PicoScope 6 software with the device.

Regards,
