Laptop and Windows 8

Post by targetpin »

Hi All

I am logging 5 channels at 1 second intervals on a i7 laptop running Windows 8. I started the program at 1430hrs UTC to do 24 hour worth of samples (60x60x24=86400 total). Looking this morning 0800hrs UTC expecting the data count to be well over half way but was supprised the the samples was only 38000+. Watching the counter, it was counting very erratically.

All the sleep fuctions on the laptop are switched off (as far as I can tell).

Any ideas?

Cheers

Mark

Hi targetpin,

What is the conversion time that has been set for each channel? This will have an impact on when new readings are available.

Thanks,

Hi,

Could you post your settings file (.pls) here or e-mail it to support@picotech.com please?

With 60ms conversion time, that's 300ms so that should be fine for a reading every second.

Thanks,
