Thank you for your reply. The company that I work for, has a 9221A Pico Scope and I'm in need of a few triggering pointers.
Direct trigger bandwidth and sensitivity
DC to 100 MHz 100 mV p-p
100 MHz to 1 GHz Increasing linearly from 100 mV p-p to 200 mV p-p
Prescaled trigger bandwidth and sensitivity
1 to 7 GHz 200 MV p-p to 2 V p-p
7 to 8 GHz 300 mV p-p to 1 V p-p
8 to 10 GHz typical 400 mV p-p to 1 V p-p
What I am asking for is a basic course on triggering the 9200 series pico scope. I think I'm suppose to use a square wave at a given frequency and amplitude to measure, whatever type of signal that I want to measure. For example, if I want to measure a 90 MHz signal, I would need a square wave with an amplitude of at least 100mV pp, but at what frequency? I have not use an o-scope without an internal trigger before.
