Custom Probe on Channel D causes Lockup

Post by MeridenJohn »

I experienced a lockup when trying to select channel D as a trigger.

I have a 6402B and am using Picoscope 6.6.50.3
My setup was:
- Single trigger
- 20 ms time base
- Channels A, B and C are all voltage +/- 20 V , probes are internal X10
- Channel D is a custom probe, created when using a 3406B and an older version of Picoscope (don't recall which one)

Trigger was on Channel A, went to select channel D and the program locked up. I have not had time to try to repeat the issue.

Question is: should I recreate the custom probe under the current version of Picoscope? Is there a difference?

Thanks

The probe file should be fine to use for both scopes. The lockup when you enabled this channel may just be a coincidence, but if it is repeatable you could try recreating the probe.
