Future request

Post by bennog » Sun Dec 09, 2012 8:31 pm

When there is a pico scope connected to PicoScope 6 program an extra option to read files we can write ourselves (some documented format).
so users who bought a scope can write files with are sampled with the SDK.
Maby .mat files wit extra variable times ?

Other option would be to enable writing of .psdata files with the SDK when a pico scope is connected to the system.

Thank you for your post, as much as I would like to say we can do this, this is something that is not on our list of things to do. We provide a number of formats, including the mat lab binary format that is widely used.

PicoScope 6 is proprietary software, we have our format that is only readable in our software.

I hope this helps.

I am alreade looking into the .psdata fromat.
Reading is almost ready, writing will be next.

P.S. you are almost running out of fixed space for the xml part of the .psdata file. (simple fix is to remove the leading spaces in the xml file this will give enough space for future expantion)
