ACD42 on Windows 2000

Postby T.K » Fri Nov 09, 2012 2:49 pm

Hi all,

I am trying to set up an old ADC42 to run on windows 2000, as it's the only laptop I have with a parallel port.

I have downloaded and installed PicoFull_r5_16_2. When in PWL Recorder, on the Converter Details window, I select ADC42 on LPT1 and am given the following device status warning 'ACD10/12/40/42 Driver V3.2 pico.sys not found'

pico.sys can be found in WINDOWS/SYSTEMS32/DRIVERS

I'de be very grateful of some pointers.

Thanks, Tom,

Hi Tom,

Could you try the file attached and choose option 3 when you run it. I have renamed the extension the file and zipped it , you will need to unzip and then change the file extension to be .exe
