PicoLog 1216 data logger Compile error

PicoLog 1216 data logger Compile error

Hi we have just changed to a picolog 1216 and when we try and run the code we get a message box- Compile error, Argument not optional and this peice of the code highlited-- handle = pl1000OpenUnit()

Any help on this would be great thanks..

I noticed that your openunit function does not have the handle in it, it should be :

status = pl1000OpenUnit(handle)
opened = handle <> 0

Have you had a look at the SDK, there is an excel example in there.
