Rise time of 2208 function generator
Rise time of 2208 function generator
I connected the output of 2208 function generator to the input using direct coaxial cable (good quality).
Function generator produced 1 MHz square wave.
Scope showed 200 ns rise time, which is far from the expectations for a 200 Mhz scope.
I suspect this is due to the function generator.
What is the rise time of the frunction generator in 2208?
Specs say the output impedance of the function generator is 600 Ohms. Is it possible, that it is much larger?

Using an external generator the rise time can be seen in the low ns range.
