Alarm with green button

Post by Laven »

Hi,

I had a problem with the Enviromon system. Some buttons were green when alarming. I had made an update of the configuration without turning off all sounding alarms so I suspected that it was the problem. So I reseted all configuration and started all over again. That worked fine, but after a while the system freezed so I had to restart it. Now I have the same problem again. I had saved the configuration before the crash but when I load it up I have the same problem.
I don't want to start from scratch again because it's a lot of configuring. Is there another way to make it work?

Hello Zeke,
There is an autodialer connected to the system and it works alright, just as information.

Here is the text in the ini-file:

Thank You for your reply:
"Hi I have managed to recreate your problem, this seems to be a problem with refreshing the display.  I noticed that if you go into Settings->Monitors-> Channels and then click on exit it updates the display.  The device works perfectly fine its jut the monitor view is not being update.

I iwll forward this to the software engineers.

Kind regards

Ziko"

I've tested it now and it works perfectly. This is a good way to make it work for me. Thanks a lot!

Hi again!

It's been some time now and I'm wondering if something happens about the software update.
It's still a bit annoying that you have to update the list to see the alarms and there has been some misunderstandings because of that. You have to wait until the temerature is ok before you update it if you don't want to have an alarm inspite that everything is alright.

Hi Laven,

Unfortunately no modifications have been made so far, EnviroMon goes through very few modifications. Usually if something big is added or fixed.

I think I've found the problem. Senor number 4 was disabled. Sensor 1-3 worked alright but 5-12 didn't change colour. When I enabled sensor 4 and sent the information to the loggers, sensor 5-12 worked normally again. :)
