Integrating surface of lissjous

Post by robbya »

We are currently using picoscopes 6402a and 3204a to calculate the power in our plasma reactors.

This is done by creating lissajous figures from the applied voltage and the voltage on a capacitor.

Then the surface of this trapezoid lissajous figures multiplied by the frequency represents the power of the plasma discharge. At this moment we do this manually by measuring on paper or by manual integration.

Is their a way to integrate these trapezoid lissajous figures and thereby calculating the power for a couple of periods directly with the mathchannels.

I've attached an example of our measurement.

Best regards,

Robby

I have asked our team and it is not possible to do this using Picoscope software. The best suggestion would be to export the data as a csv file and then use some program to do the calculation, Matlab being the obvious candidate.

Sorry we can't help further
