CANbus in Serial Decoding Window

Postby Chris Stamford-Burrows » Tue May 08, 2012 3:25 pm

I am trying to decode data from an inclinometer, and while I am seeing digital CANHigh and CANLow data I cannot set up the serial decoding so that it reads the data coherently. I believe the sensor is at 125 kBit/s but I have also tried the other options of 250 and 500 that are available on the sensor.

I do get some data decoding but it seems to depend on the trigger point and/or the bit rate that I choose and/or the collection time. I have for reference the Demkonstration video, which is, of course perfect. :?

The data (if it is data) is coming in long bursts around 0.5 seconds long.

Any suggestions ??

Can you capture some data and then use File->SaveCurrentWaveformAs to save a psdata file which you can then post here for us to look at.
