Problems with TC-08 USB

Postby matomato » Fri Mar 23, 2012 11:41 am

Hi,
We have 3 TC-08 thermocouple Data loggers.
I have installed the software using the DVD received with the loggers.
When I open the PicoLogger Recorder\ New setting\ Converter details\ set the TC-08 (USB) as the converter type, click OK and receive a message "No unit has been selected".

The logger is connected to the pc and I don't understand what is wrong.
Any help???
Thanks

PS. I am using Windows XP

Hi matomato,

Please check whether the devices have installed correctly by viewing the Device Manager window. The example below shows what you should see if one device has been installed correctly:

Did you install the software before plugging in the devices?

If there is a yellow circle with an exclamation mark next to the TC-08 entry, please right-click and uninstall the device(s), and unplug them. Next uninstall and reinstall the software.

Try also clicking 'Refresh' on the converter details box a few times if the devices have installed correctly.

Also, within the Recording dialog that appears after clicking File -> New Settings, ensure that the 'Use multiple converters' tickbox is selected.
