4227 AWG short circuit proof ?

Post by modmix »

Hi,
I guess, 4227 AWG port will behave at 50 ohm load as stated here: 3206 signal generator.
Pls, correct me in case I'm wrong.

Additional question: is the AWG port short circuit proof ? or will a short circuit at that port do some harm to the hardware?

TIA
Ulli

The specs for the 4227 can be found here http://www.picotech.com/picoscope4227-s ... tions.html so similar to the 3206

Thanks, Martyn.
Should I find some hint for my short circuit proof question on that page?
Where?

It can be shorted to ground without causing an issue.
