Grid layout queston

Post by s4c »

Hi

Firstly I must appologise if this seems a silly question.

What is the purpose of the 'Grid Layout' option?

I have been playing around with it during a quiet time but I am obviously
doing something wrong as I can only get one trace in one window.

If someone could explain its function I would greatly appreciate it.

Regards

Simon

Hi,

One of the cool features of PicoScope is that you can have multiple scope, spectrum and XY views at the same time.

Right click and add another scope or spectrum view (Add View), you can then use the grid layout. In the image below there are three scope views, one spectrum and one XY. You can arrnge the views in lots of ways - scope 1 is a tab behind scope 3 in this example.

I use multiple scope to separate out groups of channels - eg if looking at an amplifier put the input / output signals in a main scope window and put power / ground in another.
