Steaming mode in 3245

Post by gbgb »

I would like to make sure I understand the streaming mode and the "switch to slow speed" parameter:
1. When the sampling rate is FASTER than the parameter the scope switches from streaming to block. Correct?
2. What is the fastest sampling rate in streaming mode for the 3245 working with 2 and 3 channels?

I take it you mean 3425.

This is a feature of the Picoscope6 software which changes the mode from Streaming to Block according to the Slow Sampling Transmission setting for Collection Time. With the 3425 the quickest value that you can stream at is 100ms/div or 1s for a screen of data.

If you write your own software it is possible to stream data at faster rates than this subject to the host PC USB performance.
