Running Pico on BBC Basic with Windows XP

Post by Mayez2004 »

I've written a program to log transmitting waves and recieving waves with BBC Basic program. At the first trial, I did it on Windows 98 system, and the program was working well.

However, I've changed the system to work on Windows XP, and I found that my program didn't work with this system. What I've done is I run the driver from picotech on microsoft excel, and the picoscope response wel. However, when I run my program written by BBC Basic, it seems like the memory in the pico box can't be excess.
It always give me the same reading getting from excel program, although I've changes the wave form.

Has anyone get the same problem? Could you give me any suggestion?

P.S.: I'm using ADC-216 for logging my waves.

Hi,

Unfortunately, I do not know what differences there are between VB6 and BBC Basic, except for the graphical user interface. I can only suggest that you look at the VB examples.

Perhaps someone else on the forum can help you further with BBC Basic.

Best regards,
