Using 3425 & TA041 on 3 phases 400V power lines

Post by LuisM »

Hello,

I need to analyse the spectrum of all 3 phases in 400V lines and I plan to use a 3425 plus 3 TA041 probes for that. My questions are:
1 - The TA041 probes have an auxiliary grounding terminal, which should connect to the oscilloscope, but I only see 2 ground connections in the oscilloscope, is there an adapter included with the oscilloscope to connect 4 auxiliary grounding terminals (1 per channel) ?
2 - I would also like to know if I can leave the oscilloscope and a PC making data acquisition on those lines for indefinite time (to process the data later), and if yes, how can I do that using PicoScope 6 ?

Regards,
Luis

We do not have a specific adapter as the grounding plugs are stackable.
You would need to use the alarm event "Buffer Full" to save the data to disk and restart the capture to achieve long term data logging in Picoscope 6.
