Re: ADC 200 via USB / Parallel convertor & Windows 7

Mike, You will get this error when the installer does not install the drivers for the ADC-200. When you installed the software did you select the ADC-200 in the drop down menu? If you did try reinstalling the software and this time select PS-3000 Series and click the "Install for other devices" and ...

Re: Multipe Users with the same settings

tanslep,

The easiest way to accomplish this would be to simply have the users save their files in a central location that all can access. Then to retrieve the settings the other users simply have to open the prior logs.

Re: Picoscope just hangs whilst enumerating devices H E L P !

Phil, Going by the steps that you are taking it sounds like your computer is experiencing issues returning from hibernation. Hibernation mode have been a sore spot with USB connected devices for many years now. Here is Microsoft's take on the issue: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/871233. Regards, R...

Re: Save different startup setting

KLC, You are limited to loading only one default start up setting. A quick and easy work around for this however is to save your default settings for your tests as either .psdata's or .pssettings and then when you need to do these tests you simply load these files and the software will reload the ne...

Arnis,

The PicoLog software does not support FFT functions. A work around for this would be to save the data points in Excel and then use the data analysis function and create an FFT that way...

Re: Pressure recording

Mick, Essentially all of our products come with drivers and examples for you to use the scopes in the LabVIEW environment. The choice of scope depends on what information is key in your application that you are going to deem that the machine passed/failed. If you just need the simple information suc...

Chris,

Of hand, I do not know of a company that produces a true real time 1 GS/s 16 bit scope. What is your application exactly, do you truly need those specifications?

Re: No channel B

Paul, Have you setup Channel B in the software? On software startup it defaults to having Channel A on with the rest of the channels off. You will need to select the proper voltage range you are going to be looking at. Or is the trace displayed but it does not change when you apply a signal to the s...

Re: USB PC Data Logger, from RS 485 Networks, using 2203 model

Pappneelam, To view an RS-485 signal you need to connect Channel A to RS485+ and ground and connect Channel B to RS485- and ground and view them in PicoScope 6... It depends on what information you are after as far as to if the PS-2203 is the right choice as far as scopes go... Regards, Richard Boyd...

Re: Minimising base noise read by PicoScope3224

Alexis, The 38mV noise that you are seeing on the +/- 5V scale is the inevitable noise built into all 8 bit resolution scopes. At 10V pk-pk voltage range you can figure the lowest step the ADC can display by dividing 10 by 256 (the number of steps in 8 bits). If you step up to a 12 bit scope this wo...

Re: 9xxx series for single acquisition?

cdmurphy, The PicoScope 9201 features a ADC with 16 bits of resolution and a bandwidth of 12 GHz. The scope uses sequential sampling rather than real time sampling to capture waveforms. The scope captures the waveform by looking at the repetitive signal several times and builds up the waveform. You ...
