Re: "PS2000.dll is not found"error

Hello,

When you installed the PicoScope software, did you select the PicoScope 2000 Series in the installer?

Is the PS2000.dll located in your C:\Program Files\Pico Technology\Pico Full folder?

Re: switching from player back to recorder

Neig, If PicoLog Player comes up when you select the PicoLog Recorder shortcut the recorder is still running in the background. In the lower right corner next to your clock double click on the icon that is a 'PL' and the recorder should come back up... Regards, Richard Boyd Crag Technologies, Inc ht...

Re: ADC-11 & TC-08 JAVA is possible?

Hello, In theory, you should have little issue using Java to control the ADC-11 or TC-08. We currently have no example on using Java with the Pico line of products, so we will be able to offer little support however. You simply need to call the functions from the products dll's and set them up in Ja...

Re: Importing PicoLog Data Into Excel

RE, Unfortunately, the PicoLog software currently does not transfer the time information via DDE. If you are needing timing information transferred directly to Excel along with the voltage data, have you looked at the Excel example? With this example you control the unit from Excel and do not use Pi...

Re: Getting PicoScope 5 and running under Wine

Tfielden, Simply go to http://www.picotech.com/software.html and select your unit and then select the latest R5 version. If you are using a newer scope such as the 5000 or 4000 series, these units are not compatible with PicoScope 5. As far as running PicoScope under Wine refer to the following post...

Polestar,

When you click on the chart or spreadsheet, under select "Select Channels" are all the channels highlighted?

Re: Picoscope just hangs whilst enumerating devices H E L P !

Phil, What are your computer specifications/model? If the software is hanging during enumeration typically there is a fault with PicoScope files, the driver files, or a .Net framework fault. I would go through and uninstall the PicoScope program. Next verify that the following folders are deleted: C...

nawawi, Step through the functions one at a time and see where the program is stopping at. If you are using custom .vi's it would be beneficial if you upload your .vi's so I can look at them to see the issue, simply zip them and upload to the forum... Re: usb driver for ps2000

Hello, Unfortunately, you cannot control the USB port on a computer like you can with a serial port. With USB you must have a device connected to the computer in order to output any type of signal. What type of signal are you looking to output? The PS2203 would have the capability to connect via USB...

Re: Picolog only opens in player mode

Hello, If you can only get PicoLog player to start, I imagine that you already have a instance of PicoLog Recorder running in the background. First, do you have a PL icon in the lower right corner next to your clock? If so, simply double click on it to bring up PicoLog Recorder. Refer to the attache...

Re: uV level resolution?

Hello, Every additional piece of equipment that you add in between the scope and the actual signal is going to degrade the accuracy you get in some form or the other. There are differential preamplifiers available to purchase which can be NIST certified (and really anything can be NIST certified ess...

Re: uV level resolution?

Hello, The Tektronix TDS-2004b units feature a vertical sensitivity of 2mV/Div. This is with 8 divisions so a total screen of 16mV. Note however that the bandwidth of the unit goes down to 20 MHz when you choose this range. The majority of analog and digital scopes have a lowest sensitivity level of...

Tulagm,

Can you save some .psdata's with PicoScope 6 with the trigger settings like you are having issues with? This way we can see exactly how the triggers are set to determine the issue software/hardware wise. Thanks!

Morris, When you first start up your application and initialize the buffers the buffers will be available until you end your program, then the memory space the buffer uses will be dropped.
