Jorge, Welcome to automotive scope diagnostics. It is often said that you need a 'starter scope' as a beginner and then upgrade later to a better one. I have never understood this. Seems a waste of time and money to me. No matter what you get, you will need to invest some time to learn to operate it...

I have not seen Pico on one of those yet.

Please let us know how it works out. My only concern would be the processor speed of only 800MHz.

Yeah, but That's the closest thing that Pico has that I know of. 1000v rms cat III. This is also differential isolating. Maybe your other choice would be more suitable. Unless someone at Pico has something to add...

Yes, it will work. It will work with any lab scope. The 100mv/A and 10mv/A settings are the same as the Snap-On amp probe but it goes to 60A in the high range instead of 40A. I can't help you with your crash issue but....

In PicoScope 5, it is easy to click on the screen and put up an unintended measurement cursor. Simply click on the cursor and hit the delete key on your keyboard to remove them.

I am not familiar with that Tektronix model but you can have two scope windows within PicoScope open at the same time. Each window can have completely different settings. Different triggers, timebase, voltage, filters, etc. The windows take turns sampling.
