I am running 5.15.6. I have tried it on two systems, with the same results both times. When I do Help-->About, I get the following: Release 5.15.6 - 32 bit Driver Version: 1, 7, 0, 2 USB Version: 2.0 Hardware Version: 4 Hardware Model: 2105 Serial Number: JAL82/78 Calibration Date: 20Nov06 Error Cod...

I have Release 5.15.6. I have tried removing it and re-installing. I have tried it on two different computers, all with the same result. Normally, I wouldn't use a max samples of 9500, but when I came across the error at other settings, I chose this one as it illustrates the problem quite clearly. T...

Hi Sarah, Attached are two PSD files, and two image files showing the problem I see. One shows a noisy 10 KHz square wave, the other shows a very clean 1 KHz square wave. Notice the spectrum displays. If you leave the display refreshing long enough, occassionally it will show the correct spectrum fo...

Thanks for the info, that works great. However, as a request, could you consider displaying the sample rate with the number of samples? You would not need another line, just display both when you display "Number of Samples". I find the sample rate value to be more valuable when I am taking measureme...

Max Samples on 3424

First, let me say you have a great product! I have a 3424 and am trying to get a long single channel data capture. The specification says that I can get 512K samples with a single channel, yet the most I can seem to get is 250002. I have only channel A enabled, and set the "Max samples per scope tra...

Trigger offset

I am using a 3424, and get a trigger offset for certain settings. I have attached an example that shows it quite clearly, using a 10 KHz square wave.

Notice that the trigger is indicated in the center of the display, but the waveform is offset by about 25 microseconds.

Spectrum display with delayed trigger

The Spectrum display seem to be wrong if the trigger delay is set to -50%. I seem to get all the frequencies doubled. If I set the tirgger point to 0%, it looks OK. Is this normal?

2105 trigger/display problem

My 2105 has what I think is a problem, and I was wondering if it is normal for the 2105. I have the following settings: 20 microseconds/div, x1, +-10 volts range, vertical zoom off. Trigger: Repeat, Rising, 1000 mV, -50%. All other settings at default, (max samples set to 10000) Input signal is a 5 ...

Sample rate display

Is there a way to display the sample rate being used by PicoScope? The only way I have found so far is to save the data as a TXT file, and look at the data. I would like a way to tell when I am taking data. Ideally there would be a display on the screen showing the sample rate, like Tek or Agilent d...

Thanks, I have it working. You have to start the program twice in order to switch scopes. The first time you run with the wrong device installed, you have to hit "continue" at the popup that says "PS2000 not connected". Then in the scope program that is non-functional at this time, select "File", "S...

Have 3424 and 2105, can I use both?

I have both a 3424 and a 2105. I can install the software for one or the other, but it won't let me do both. Is it possible to: 1) Switch from using 3424 to 2105 without re-installing? 2) Use both at the same time? I would be happy with either. For #1, if there was a way I could just have a shortcut...
