Re: File size problems

This is an old thread and relates to PicoScope 6 exporting of MAT4 format files. PicoScope 7 exports a later version of file so shouldn't have this limit. Can you please email support@picotech.com to discuss your issues. If you can send a psdata file that you wish to import into Matlab but is giving...

Re: Problem with Manchester encoded RC5

In the latest release of PicoScope 7 Early Access 7.1.17 we have added a new option on the Manchester Decoder setup panel. This allows you to specify the number of edges to ignore at the start of a packet. For normal Manchester this is set to 1, but for signals such as this RC5 set this to 0. The do...

Re: Software PS 7 is slow

Can you make sure that you have a fully up to date O/S, in particular .NET, and that the graphics drivers are the latest available from the graphics chip manufacturer, and not the PC manufacturer. If this does not improve the performance can you please email support@picotech.com where the team will ...

Re: How to read from Pico Scope 2204A at a rate of 1ms continuously?

We will need some context to be able to advise on the best option, so Are you trying to collect a block of x samples at a sampling rate of y and then repeat this process with a fixed time between of z or are you trying to collect a fixed number of samples x at a sample rate of y and then stop. It wo...

Can you email support@picotech.com with some more details regarding your required use of this function, and if some possible include an example psdata file with an explaination of what the expected maths channel would look like. We can then pass the information on to the development team.

Six processes is normal, 99% is not. Can you save a .picolog file when it is in this state so we can look at the setup.

Re: PicoLog, latest version: 99% CPU usage

That should not happen.

We would recommend killing all running PicoLog processes using task manager and then clean out the AppData directory C:\Users\{UserLoginName}\AppData\Local\PicoLog , which will allow you to restart as if the software has just been installed.

Re: Bug? Extended UART decoding not working

Thank you for the file. You can decode the signal if you use the between time rulers option in the decoder setup, but that requires manual intervention to drag the rulers to the appropriate postion. I have added this as a bug to our backlog of work, alongside supporting the break signal which was al...
