Just to add to the above, we do not use any devices by FTDI in your PicoScope 2105 so what you are describing is odd. I dont think we have had this reported before.

Is it possible you have an odd / corrupt driver for an FTDI device installed?

Dear Andreas, I am sorry to hear of the issues listed. As soon as the office opens today I will arrange for someone to send you a replacement unit and also arrange the collection of your existing unit. 1. The LED should obviously be in line and these sort of things are checked so I am at a bit of a ...

Hi,

Both PicoScope 5 and 6 have different ways of saving to disk on trigger. I assume you are familiar with PicoScope 5 already. For PicoScope 6 see this post http://www.picotech.com/support/viewtop ... highlight=

Hi, PicoScope 6 automatically stores waveforms into a circular buffer. By default it stores the last 32 waveforms but using the preferences this can be increased to 1000. In this way the 1000 most recent triggered waveforms are stored in memory. When you save the data you have the choice of saving t...

Hello Guest, The background and channel colours may not be changed. Regards John If I can just add to this - John is correct above, the colours can not currently be changed in PicoScope 6. We will add this function at some point in the future but as we have lots of exciting new functions to add to ...

Hi, As it stands we will have a binary export feature and / or an option to save in Matlab format (essentially the same) for the release due out at the end of June. We are looking into whether we can delay the release due out any day now to include this feature early. Details of what makes it into t...

Hi,

The PicoScope 5203/4 are supported in PicoScope 6, but not 5. I have discussed the data export option with the software team and we have moved the binary data export feature up in the priority list so it should be available around the end of June.

Hi, The idea about a user setting for the displayed dynamic range is a good one which we will consider. The frequency error you mention is an odd one - is it possible to recreate? Both the AWG and Scope / Spectrum are locked to the same master clock so this should not happen. Finally the PSW5 style ...

Hi, You can export as text from PSW6 but this is limited to 64K samples - the reason for this is that 64K is the maximum that Excel can support. Use Edit - copy as text. If you need more than 64K, then please bear with us. New export tools will be included soon, hopefully in a release at the end of ...

If so please send me a message using the PM (private message) button below. Our Linux driver is not quite ready for the prime time yet - the docume...

In answer to the questions about the spectrum analyser. 1. The dynamic range of the spectrum analyser is set during development of the product. What we try to do is to set the visible range so that cut off is close to the noise floor of the product. If we show to much dynamic range it is rather poin...
