Hi Tobiasz,

Can you check if there is anything in system messages regarding USB? (dmesg or check in /var/log/messages)

Re: tablet use

Hi Mark, The thought has been given... ;) Use of libusb would require rooting the device and that is not what average Android user would want to do (unless he is an owner of the cheapo tablets, that come rooted already). However, If you look here http://www.picotech.com/support/topic14421.html , we ...

Re: Picoscope doesn't works under Ubuntu after last updates

Hi,

The fixed version is now published. It was timing issue causing firmware only on this particular device (2205MSO) to crash.

Thanks for your help in narrowing the issue.

Re: Picoscope doesn't works under Ubuntu after last updates

Hi Boremi, You could try starting Picoscope without device connected. then Demo device dialogue should popup, to which you should agree. In Help/About version number should be presented - the latest is 6.10.1.12. Is it the same for you? You could try reinstalling Picoscope: sudo apt-get install --re...

Re: Picoscope Beta for MAC OS X

Hi Michael,

Yes, current version 6.10.1.10 is working on OSX 10.9.4 More to that, we develop and test on newest OSX and do limited testing on 10.8.x. We have also decided to set 10.8.0 as minimum version. The main requirement/limitation to that is availability of Intel architecture/CPU.

There is another version available now. It brings dearly awaited feature - log scale axis to the spectrum mode. Also few important fixes were implemented, like crash on start up for PS5444 devices.

Re: Could not load type 'az' from assembly

Hi, You could try running mono with a trace enabled: mono --trace PicoScope.GTK.exe It will produce a lot more information and frankly I'm not sure how readable would it be for you. Decoding the stacktrace kind of tells us that PicoScope is having problems in recognizing localization/regional inform...

Re: Could not load type 'az' from assembly

If there is no device plugged it - it should call Demo device. it is possible that it still crashes due to some other libraries loading in. Try running it without management script: cd /opt/picoscope/lib mono PicoScope.GTK.exe Should produce some helpful messages. Alternatively you could look for tr...
