Re: AC Dimmer capture crash when I pushed Auto Setup

Hi Sven,

Trace.xml files mostly do contain the Platform info.

This is now being handled by our help desk.

Re: Bad output from a device - claims from manufacturer

Hi populusnigra, At the risk of stating what you've probably already checked, what happens when you swap the Probe connections to the device over? If you look at page 3 of our document on "Choosing the right PicoTechnology active differential probe" (see here: https://www.picotech.com/download/manua...

Re: Display problem?

Hi cszam, If the device is at fault, then we suspect that this could be something like a 1V to 2V relay switch issue in which case we would urge you to send an email to us at support@picotech.com so that we can start the returns process, in order to get the device into the hands of our Test and Repa...

Re: Display problem?

Hi Gilbert,

I did think of that, but as you say, I would have expected a half height equivalent decay on the 2V Input Range if it was Probe Compensation.

Re: Bursts of noise with 4444/441/PicoLog6

Hi Paul, Before doing anything else, something similar caught me out for a little while, so, as a sanity check, is Channel B on Autorange for the input signal? If so, then check that it's not switching between ranges because the signal is going out-of-range (easily done when logging a noise signal o...

Re: Is it possible to measure the spectrum of extremely low frequencies (1 to 100Hz) with PicoScope?

Hi oligny, The short answer to your question "is this the result?" (I assume you mean "is this the expected result?") is: Yes, that is the expected result when using Spectrum Mode in a Primary View, in fact it can be significantly longer than that if you use a large Number of Bins (in the Spectrum O...

Re: Picoscope 6.14.23.5207 crashes when external power is connected

Hi benno,

Just one more question.

What's the platform that you're running on as it's not reported in the trace.xml.

Re: Channel Overrange on new old stock 5203

Hi Dr. Brapp, It looks like you could have a faulty scope, but to understand the problem better: 1/ When zeroing the ranges did you short the probe tip to the ground clip? 2/ Could you post screen images of the probe connected and disconected, and describe if there are any changes when manually swit...

Re: Display problem?

Hi cszam, It appears that you could have a faulty PicoScope, but just to be sure, could you confirm that the 2 displayed captures for the ±1V and ±2V input ranges, were done with exactly the same probe and connection points on the item being measured (DUT) in a reply, and post an image showing the p...

Re: How to transmit recorded data from Dr Daq to PC wirelessly

Hi Benno, We've had feedback from customers that it works with USB 2 PicoScopes. I seem to recall getting feedback from a USB 3 Picoscope user that it works with that, but searching for that ticket today haven't been able to find it yet. USB 3 is more tricky as the hub needs to pass through a connec...

Re: How to transmit recorded data from Dr Daq to PC wirelessly

Hi Steve, You can use a wireless USB hub such as something like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-LINK-TL-WN822N-Wireless-Adapter-Version-300M/dp/B00416Q5KI/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1534871486&sr=8-5&keywords=wireless+usb+hub (note that this is just an example as we haven't tested this specific wirele...
