measurement cursors on picoscope

Whenever I inadvertently click on the scope, I get a measurement cursor. I haven't learned the best way to remove them. In trying to drag them off the scope face I crashed Picoscope several times. This is very inconvenient since XP Pro on my installation will not close Picoscope after it crashes. It...

USB power

I have jusy setup a 3424 Picoscope on an Intel Mac running XP Pro in a partition set up with Boot Camp 1.12. Everything seems satisfactory. I have one question at the moment. I use my computer most of the time running the Mac OSX instead of XP Pro. Is there power on the oscilloscope when the Picosco...

continuous sampling

I'm looking for information on the data format for continuous sampling, i.e. from a previous post: Q) (4) What is the format of the recorded data when one is doing multi-channel recording? A) There is no format as such, its just binary data (arrays of 16bit signed values ... 'short' in C/C++). Again...

continuous sampling

Last summer Sarah said concerning continuous sampling with a new USB driver that it would work with a 3424. I have some questions about this. (1) Can one initiate recording on two channels by triggering on a third channel? (2) How does one stop recording? (3) What are the sampling rate limitations a...

16 bit oscilloscope

You don't seem to be offering a 16 bit unit anymore. Are you coming out with a new, improved 16 bit oscilloscope?

Intel-based Macs

I haven't tried Parallels on a Mac, but the Apple Boot Camp Beta 1.1.2 works very well, and it is a free download from Apple. Also, Apple says it will support Boot Camp in Leopard, the next operating system. There is no intervening software between the XP operating system and the cpu with Boot Camp....

XP Pro in Intel Mac

If I bought a 3424 Picoscope for use with an Intel Mac running XP and it was not compatible, could it be returned?

You should be interested in the possibility of Picoscopes on Intel Macs since there are probably more Macs in science labs than PCs.

XP Pro in Intel Mac

I would like to use a Pico parallel to USB converter with a ADC 212. My question is will this work with an Intel Mac that is running XP Pro. Apple has supplied the low level drivers with boot camp so that XP Pro recognizes a device like a USB Zip drive. I would also be interested in the possibility ...

parallel to usb

I need advice on the use of a parallel to USB adapter. The above posts suggest it might be a problem. I have an Intel Macintosh with XP Pro installed with boot camp. It seems to work very well. I can read a Zip disk in a Zip drive connected to a USB port. The Zip disk files appear in a window automa...
