Re: erroneous readings

Hi, This is usually down to a number of reasons: 1)Sensor is connected to something that is applying a voltage to the probe, that is injecting a voltage into the logger that is above the Common Mode Range of the device. 2)You are using a laptop that is connected to the power supply, this could be be...

Re: Using EL037 as supply to sensors

Hi Richard, The logger is powered by a 12V (unregulated ) power supply , the network cable connecting the converters to the logger use a 4 wire cable (RJ11 connector 2 pins unused) , two carry data, one is 12V and one is ground. If you want to power a sensor from the device you need to have the jump...

Re: Trigger hold-off

Yeah unfortunately with this product you will not be able to do what you want. The alternative is a large memory device and just capture a big block of data, however the price does start to go up.

Re: Trigger hold-off

Hi,

Yes I understand what you are saying, there is an alternative, it depends on which scope you have though.

Instead of actually capturing multiple waveforms you can capture one long capture in streaming or block mode (depends on the device you have).

What device do you have?

Re: Trigger hold-off

Hi Edward, We do not have a trigger hold-off feature in our devices at the moment. Depending on your signal you might not need it, so if you set up a trigger on Repeat and choose an appropriate time base this may still work. Could you describe your signal to me in more detail and what you are lookin...

Re: How can I know the triggered time of a channel?

HI, Do you mean a signal that is being generated is put on channel A (and a device) and a signal that comes out of some Device is sending out a signal is going onto channel B? When you say can the channel send out several cycles of a wave, do you mean the signal generator? You cannot do this in Pico...

Re: Need advice selecting a product ... please!

Hi John, Sorry for the delay, was waiting on an order for a BNC to 3.5mm Jack so I can connect a BNC cable to my guitar pickup. The results are nor amazing as I am using a guitar pickup that I bought for my acoustic guitar. I have 3 images, one using the 2205 (8 bits), 4227 (12 bits) and 4262 (16 bi...

Re: Need advice selecting a product ... please!

Hi John, Not sure about how it would compare as soundcards usually have a high resolution, sample rate is usually low compared to a scope though. I have a guitar myself with a pickup on it, I will pluck some strings and show you the waveforms with a number of scopes just to show what they look like ...

Re: Saving the waveform on a mark fail alarm

Hi,

These features you are talking about are PicoScope 6 features and not within the driver, you would have to be able to create your own masks and your own alarming really.

Hi James, Ah excellent the 1216 is a current product and it is the higher spec one of the two that we make. We usually sell them with the terminal board, the part number for the terminal board is PP545. You can find it on the link below, just select Data Acquisition and it will be the first on the l...
