Hi, Although the files should be compiler independent, this may not always be the case. The programs were written in Borland, so if you want to compile them in other compilers, you may need to make some minor alterations. These will probably be compiler dependent, so you will need to play around wit...

Hi again, It appears that this has already been fixed last year, try downloading the latest software again (download buttom at the bottom of this page). When you reinstall make sure you overwrite the previous installation. The file you are interested in, is adc1032.dll . Place this file into the sam...

Thanks for the information,

We do know about this problem and are trying to resolve it by the next software web release (after 5.09.4), as you suggest, it only affects the USB operation, so using the LPT1 port is a temporary solution.

Hi, Unfortunately most of our oscilloscope systems are not true real-time (they use buffering), so they will not be suitable for a control system. The ADC-100 does not use buffering so it is as real-time as possible with a PC, however, since it runs through Windows, the pre-emptive multitasking can ...

Hi,

If you've installed PicoLog, then the dll file will be in the installation directory. Just copy the dll into the xls file's working directory.

Hi Walt, Although, I can get the application to compile on linux kernel 2.4 (I think its Redhat 6). I can't get the ADC-100 to take any readings. Since we're not in a position to support the Linux drivers in a timely fashion (see the notice on the linux download page ), I would advise against persui...

Hi, The ADC-212/3 should be fine for this if the 12-bit resolution is sufficient. A better unit would be the ADC-216 , this has a more accurate clock, and 16-bit resolution. All of our scopes are two channel, so you won't be able to measure 3 sensors simultaneously ... I can't offer any advice on th...

Hi Malcolm, The following would be a viable solution for this application: 4 x TC-08 (8 channel thermocouple converters) 1 x ADC-11/12 (11 channel 0-2.5V converter) The laptop will most likely have a parallel port connector for the ADC-11, however, it will not have enough serial ports for the TC-08s...

Hi Carlos, Although PicoLog won't go much lower than ~7-8Hz, PicoScope can measure very low frequencies (<1Hz) using the Settings|Measurements function (this displays a number on the bottom of the scope trace indicating the fundamental frequency). The ADC-42 should be capable of doing this, however,...

Hi Ken, Unfortunately, this is not something that PicoLog can do ... I like the idea though. I'm going to put this on as a wish list item for a future software version. My initial thoughts on solving this in the short term are either to: collect all of the data but then eliminate the non-useful data...

Hi Andy,

No, unfortunately PicoLog wasn't desiged to do this. The only way you could implement this is to write your own software.

The software examples can be downloaded by following the links from here.
