Re: Display of timing information in graph window

Hi Mostritch,

You can't display this information within the graph plot area (if that's what you mean by graph window), but you can display this information just below the graph plot area as measurements of 'cycle time', 'high pulse width' and/or 'low pulse width'.

Re: connecting to 2 different scopes from 2 matlab instances

Hi gelbertgil, Sorry for the delayed response. In theory, you should be able to do that without any issues (although, you may find that you have to compile executables to do so). That is what you can do with our PicoScope 7 software, i.e. run 2 instances of the software with each instance controllin...

Re: Trigger AWG from scope

Hi AI, Sorry for the long delay in answering (the run up to christmas is often a difficult time to respond quickly, due to many users looking to get to a specific milestone before the holiday period). In case you still haven't been able to resolve this yourself I have added the following comments: I...

Re: Where is AWG hidden?

Hi Roger, The AWG/SigGen should be the last section below the Channels on the left hand side of the display. If you only see Channels, then either {a} you are running in Demo Mode (because the Mac hardware or Software hasn't managed to find your device over USB) {b} You are using a PicoScope that do...

Hi Francis, You should really introduce yourself to the users of our sister site on the PicoAuto Forum here: https://www.picoauto.com/support . That's where the vast majority of Automotive discussions and posts of information take place. More importantly , before considering using a PicoScope 2204A ...

Re: Max Buffer use on 5444B

Hi dnoyeb, Are you using a Normal trigger? In, order to be able to send consecutive buffers of data when triggers are repeating (with a Normal Trigger) The PicoScope needs to be sending the data from one buffer, while capturing the data in a different buffer, so it divides the available buffer memor...

Re: Picoscope with Raspberry PI

Hi pebert, Unfortunately, PicoScope 7 won't run on arm or Raspberry Pi platforms. however, PicoLog 6 will do, if you restrict the operating system to 32-bit. So, for instance, with the Raspberry Pi 3 or 4, running on 32-bit Raspbian, Picolog 6 will work if you restrict the Raspbian version that you'...

Re: Can Raspberry Pi 4 handle Picscope 2204A?

Hi Boris, UPDATED 30/11/23 We currently don't have PicoScope 7 running on Raspberry Pi / Arm platforms. However, we do have PicoLog 6 and applications built with our Software Development Kit (SDK) running on armhf and Arm64 (with 32-bit Raspbian) Platforms. The answer to your question is that, as th...

.....I forgot to add that this could be due to the Pico Technology Authentication certificates being previously installed where you as a user, of the software, don’t have access rights to replace them. Before we hand this over to our development team, it would be useful for us (and may be a quicker ...

Hi Benno,

I apologise for the delay in getting to this post.

I can confirm that I replicated this. Could you send a support request to our help desk at support@picotech.com (and add FAO Gerry in the title), so that I can link it to a bug fix request for our development team.

Re: Installation error 26352

HI jpk216 (or anyone else with the same problem). As the last known version of software in which this occurred was 'PicoScope_7.1.2.15463_TnM_Stable.exe', if this is still a problem, could you do the following: (a) confirm that this is occurring with the latest version of PicoScope 7 (7.1.13) here: ...

Re: Data TransferHi

Hi Foxtrot, The second problem that you have is that the PicoScope 2205A doesn't appear to even support USB 1.1. If you look at our Specifications here: https://www.picotech.com/oscilloscope/2000/picoscope-2000-specifications, you will notice, under 'PC Connectivity" that we state "USB 2.0 (USB 3.0/...

Re: Not opening up graph/data

Hi Pico-chu, You will need to use PicoLog 5 to open .PLW files, as they're not used by PicoLog 6 (which has it's own file type, i.e. .Picolog files). If you don't have a copy of PicoLog 5 to install, then you can download it from here: https://www.picotech.com/downloads under 'Discontinued software'...

Re: Data TransferHi

Hi Foxtrot, If you're considering running a 2205A from a very old machine then the problem will be that any computer that only has USB 1.1 ports won't have any software that it could use to communicate with the PicoScope 2205A (PicoScopes didn't even exist before USB 2 was launched). If there's some...
