Re: Effective number of bits of 5244B

Hi Herve,

Would you be able to tell me how you calculated the ENOB?

So that I can test with a device.

Re: Which data logger?

Hi, Unfortunately we do not have a device that can have different sample periods for different channel. The TC-08 is our thermocouple data logger. ( http://www.picotech.com/thermocouple.html ) Assuming the voltage returning from the IR temperature sensor is between 0-5V you could use a Single Channe...

Re: PT100s + Intro

Hi Dirk,

There is no physical difference.

The difference is the tolerance of resistor used.
Therefore the typically accuracy of the probes are:

Class A = ±0.15 °C @ 0 °C

Class B = ±0.30 °C @ 0 °C

Re: PicoScope 6.10.8: Log frequency axis

Hi Bernd,

I have added the request to the new features list.

But unfortunately I am unable to give a time scale as to when or if this will be implemented.

Re: how to open 3 pico oscilloscope at the same time in Labv

Hi, This should be possible. If you copy and paste the PicoScope5000aOpen.vi each VI would give a unique handle value which can be used to control each scope. What you could do is create a 'For Loop' and keep the values in an array and then put all the VIs to control the device also in for loops. If...

Re: convert typedef void to vb.net

Hi Tim,

I see you have commented on http://www.picotech.com/support/topic4486.html if you are not using ps2000_run_streaming_ns you do not need to use the streaming callback.

Re: convert typedef void to vb.net

Hi Tim,

If you email support@picotech.com I can send you the C# code which shows how to use the call back to get data from the device.

Re: PS4000SDK RapidBlock Labview Example stalled.

Hi,

Unfortunately I am unable to replicate the issue. I have attached an image below that shows the setttings and the driver version I used
4262 in LabVIEW 2014
4262 in LabVIEW 2014
Would you be able to tell me which version of LabVIEW you are using?

Can you also tell me what colour USB cable you are using?

Re: Invalid values in streaming mode

Hi Daniel, In streaming mode overview buffer can overrun if the data is not removed from the device fast enough. As the 2204A is our low memory device is will run out of memory very quickly at the faster sampling rates. Using the wrapper might add another layer which could cause a delay. Which might...

Re: convert typedef void to vb.net

Hi Tim, This is the callback which allows the device to stream data fast. Unfortunately VB .NET does not support unsafe code int16_t **overviewBuffers -> means a dynamic 2D array which is unsafe code Below is a short example that shows how to stream data data at micro second sample intervals, but as...

Re: PS4000SDK RapidBlock Labview Example stalled.

Hi, I think there may be a misunderstanding the red light occurs when the device is collecting data and it off when transferring data across. I have just tested with the LabVIEW example and it is working as expected. Please note IsReady function tells us when the device is ready to have the data ret...

Hi Josef,

It looks like the example is incorrect I am passing time unit when I should be passing down sample ratio.

If you email support@picotech.com I can send you the .llb file that has the correction.

Do you have the ps6000_thunk_pcwin64.dll?
If not please email support@picotech.com and I will send you the correct files.

Please also let me know if you have the Instrument Control ToolBox.
