I have just edited my original post as there was a mistake.

PicoLog 6 supports Windows 32 and 64-bit natively (in other words the installer contains both versions and installs the correct one for your system).

The problem may have been a lack of current supply from the RS232 port on the first machine, which is the case on some computers.

Dear Peter Thanks for your post. I believe there is no way to overcome this "issue" when using USB/232 converters. You will need to unplug the USB converter and the TC-08 each time. You may want to try looking for an updated driver for the USB converter on the manufacturers website. Perhaps consider...
