Re: Can I use this to replace a system onboard scope

Hi,
The 4424 will certainly be fast enough but it does not have a "Z" axis modulation (or TTL blanking) input. If that is critical, then we cannot help.

Re: psdata files

Hi, Some more information has come in about this. It seems that if you export a single screen of data with sin(x)/x interpolation to Matlab or txt/csv, then all is OK. The full number of points are saved (say 7,299 interpolated from 123 raw points). If you ask to "Save all Waveforms" the software tr...

Re: ADC-16 maximum recording speed

Hi, The ADC-16 is actually quite slow in comparison to our other loggers and may not be fast enough for your application. The fastest it can sample on a single channel is 3 samples every two seconds at full resolution. The ADC-16's conversion time is affected by the resolution that you select to use...

Re: New version of Environment

Hi,
You can use the latest version of Enviromon with the EL008 and you do not need to do a Logload. (The EL008 cannot be logloaded anyway). If you had an EL005 data logger, you would need to do a logload.

Re: Y axis invert function?

Hi,
Yes, you can invert the Y axis for any channel by making up a "Custom range" which inverts the signal and applying it to the channel in question. ("Settings", "Custom Ranges").

Re: Noise supression

Hi, A silicon bridge pressure transducer will have a differential output and the 2203 has two single-ended inputs (Signal + 0V, on each channel). It would be best to use both channels, one for each output of the sensor and use "Channel Maths" to subtract one from the other. The resulting waveform wi...

Re: Vertical zoom

Hi,
All you need to do is to select the "Magnify" tool icon in the tool-bar, (the magnifying glass). That allows you to click on any area of screen and zoom in equally in all directions.

Re: Post-Trigger-Time in Measurement "Maximum"

Hi,
I am afraid that you will have to place a cursor on the point of maximum voltage if you wish to time it. The time will be displayed in a text box but not as a normal automatic measurement.

Re: Calibration Model PS5204

Hi,
We can only calibrate scopes sent back to us in the UK. There is no reason why any of our scopes can't be calibrated local to you in the USA. Your Pico distributor may be able to advise:-

Re: Sampling interval of once per minute

Hi,
The true RMS value of the AC current is sampled at least four times and possibly up to 10 times within that minute (depending on the total number of sensors). All these readings are averaged and that value used as the reading for that minute.
I hope that explains.

Re: Equipment to Count throughput and log59

Hi,
I am afraid that our logging systems will record pulses etc perfectly well but we do not attempt to count them. You can look through the recorded data and count yourself but our software does not.

Re: Pico scope 5203

Hi Vicky, You will be pleased to hear that all the data that you collect and see in PicoScope6 can very easily be saved to the hard disk by selecting "File", "Save All Waveforms As" & typing in a file-name. You can same just the current visible waveform by selecting "Save Current Waveform As". You d...

Re: Picolog 1216 sampling rate

Hi Terry,
Please download and use PicoLog R5.21.2 as we have found a bug. You should be able to log at 1mS sample rates on a single channel then.

Re: 6000 series Picoscope Operating range

Hi, We do not manufacture any units with extended operating temperature range, the cost would be excessive for the very few that would require it. I have been told that some of our units actually work well at -20 degrees C but there are absolutely no guarantees. I have seen a unit overheated to the ...

Re: Notes Display in ver 6 vs ver 5

Hi Jim,
At present, there is no facility to set display of "Notes" as a default. The best I can do is to suggest it is incorporated as an option in a future build. Sorry.
