Re: Mono installation workaround for CentOS6

Hi spiralphenomena, The repository doesn't provide mono-basic package. Maybe you could source it from somewhere else? For example: https://www.rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/opensuse/12.2/noarch/mono-basic-2.10-6.1.2.noarch.html (then download and rpm -i ) I'm not sure though if it won't need any more ...

Re: Picoscope device not found

Hi Jeremie, You could try the latest release to see if it works for you. We have fixed a case where certain mono version was not letting PicoScope6 to recognize the device correctly. If you'd like to look into more advanced topics, every driver - libps2000 in your case, comes with C console example....

Re: PicoScope 3205DMSO not recognized OSX 10.10.5

Hi miatech, We have discovered this few days ago. Newest version of mono (as any above and including 4.0.5, 4.2.1 especially) has introduced feature/bug, which causes issues with communication on the line PicoScope6 <-> drivers. The workaround/fix has been proved to work, now we are looking into pre...

Re: Can I use an executable tested for 3406B on 3406D?

Hi ND, During our device startup, USB subsystem restarts increasing reference on the USB bus (In Linux case). This may cause device to `disappear` from the VM-guest. To overcome that you need to make sure that VM software will automatically attach restarted device. The easiest way is to create const...

Re: Data logger PT-104, Illegal instruction

Hi lena, Few things to ask first: 1. Which generation/mode of RPi are you using? 2. Which version/type of OS is running on your Pi. 3. Where the driver is coming from? http://labs.picotech.com/raspbian/ or http://labs.picotech.com/debian/ ? 4. Did you try to run the application as root? SIGILL somet...

Re: SDK for Linux

The solution is to use g++ instead of gcc... g++ compiles cpp, gcc just c. g++ will link stdc++ where missing symbols exists. Also option `-o main` will produce correct executable.

Re: Picoscope 6 not start because not from app store

Hi Giovanni, Here is Apple KB article explaining the matter: https://support.apple.com/kb/PH18657?locale=en_US Simply open /Application folder in Finder, then crtl+click on PicoScope6 and select open. Picoscope6 for Mac is released as beta software, thus it cannot be registered in the Mac App Store....

Re: Linux support for Picoscope 3200A series

The instruction on the website are sometimes displayed in a wrong way on certain browsers. A newline is injected after ">" in the first line. Make sure the following is just one line in you terminal: sudo bash -c 'echo "deb http://labs.picotech.com/debian/ picoscope main" >/etc/apt/sources.list.d/pi...

Hi vogi, Lead 3 was suppose to get us to run the console program, which I have compiled an attached to the later post, to save you the time of getting it compiled yourself (libtool is required for build configuration). But the console program still didn't find your device. I am afraid I'm out of ide...

Re: cant find DrDAQ

Hi vogi, There are still few things to try... 1) Did you try running your device on Windows or any other system? - Just to rule out faulty device. 2) Starting in your home directory, then .local/share/Pico\ Technology/260a68f1-c314-451b-830f-0a5e01d65514/ should be a trace.xml file from latest launc...

Re: PT-104 under Linux

Hi aLondon,

Thanks for the pointers about autotools. They are probably occur on your system due to older versions not recognizing syntax correctly. I put them however into our bug tracking system to get them fixed for the next release.
